This filing challenges the Bureau of Land Management’s Q2 2026 lease sale decisions for New Mexico, arguing that the agency’s Final EA, ROD, and FONSI do not satisfy NEPA and other environmental law requirements and that leasing should be deferred pending a more comprehensive review of cumulative impacts and alternatives. Submitted by the Western Environmental Law Center and allied groups, the document’s New Mexico appendix identifies 73 New Mexico parcels plus one Texas parcel, totaling 33,529.86 acres.
