The Coalition to Protect America’s National Parks consists of over 4,900 members, including current, former, and retired employees and volunteers of the National Park Service. Collectively, they have amassed more than 50,000 years of experience in caring for America’s most valuable natural and cultural resources. Outside their work with the Coalition, our members possess a diverse range of skills and expertise acquired during their careers with the National Park Service.

The Coalition aims to use its credibility and integrity to continue supporting the NPS Mission and NPS employees, and to advocate for national park solutions based on law and sound science. Our members include former National Park Service directors, deputy directors, regional directors, superintendents, park rangers (both law enforcement and interpretive), maintenance professionals, administrative staff, and many other dedicated career professionals. On average, each member has spent 20 years protecting, interpreting, and maintaining America’s national parks for the public.
