Coalition Supports Designation of Caja del Rio National Monument
The Coalition to Protect America’s National Parks issued a statement of support for the designation of the Caja del Rio National Monument in New Mexico.
“Caja del Rio protects invaluable historic and cultural resources, habitat, and wildlife corridors,” said Phil Francis, Chair of the Coalition to Protect America’s National Parks.
“We stand behind the All Pueblo Council of Governors, local elected officials, the community, and outdoor recreation enthusiasts in calling on Secretary Haaland and President Biden to use their authorities under the Antiquities Act to designate a new national monument protecting the Caja del Rio.”
