The Land Water Conservation Fund (LWCF) was created as a bipartisan commitment to safeguard our national parks and public lands, in addition to providing recreational opportunities in local communities throughout the United States. Every single state in America has benefited from LWCF funds, which does not use any taxpayer money.

While this critical fund has been permanently reauthorized, it still lacks mandatory, full funding. Without this funding, our irreplaceable natural and cultural resources are still at risk and local communities will miss out on opportunities to improve playgrounds, build ball fields, and create hiking trails.

We believe strongly in the value and importance of LWCF and we are working with our partners to advocate for full, mandatory funding for LWCF.
