The Coalition to Protect America’s National Parks worked closely with the House Committee on Natural Resources, Subcommittee on National Parks, Forests, & Public Lands, to develop appropriate language for a bill that authorizes the Secretary of the Interior to enter into partnerships to develop housing, and for other purposes. This bill amends existing park housing law.
The bill was introduced on Thursday, April 28, 2022 by Rep. Moore (R-UT) as the sponsor and Rep. Panetta (D-CA) as his primary cosponsor.
